A program you can put in your training plan and defend in front of leadership. Fixed price per participant, a diagnostic before we start, and a report at the end that shows adoption, time on reference tasks and safe use, not just attendance.
See what leadership gets →Your team already uses AI. Make it a skill you can measure.
Hands-on programs built on your people’s real, repeatable tasks. Safe with your information from the first session. Measured at the start, at the end and 30 days later, with a short report for leadership.
- Real tasks, not toy examples. Each person leaves with something already in use.
- Safe by design. No internal data in any exercise. Your approved tools.
- Evidence for leadership.Baseline, close and 30-day follow-up.
Online or on site · Groups of up to 30 · Sessions in Spanish · Led by Fernando Briseño, Proximity Advisors
Most teams already use AI. Each person in their own way.
Some people don’t trust it. Others trust it too much. A few paste information into tools they shouldn’t. And almost nobody has measured whether it saves time.
The result is uneven work: one analyst finishes a report in an hour, another spends the afternoon fixing what the AI made up, and leadership can’t tell which is which.
Productivity doesn’t come from a more powerful AI. It comes from turning a repeatable task into a process with enough context, clear limits and a cheap way to check the result.
What’s in it for you
Your people spend less time on the repeatable parts of their work (minutes, reports, long documents, recurring analysis) and keep control of the review. Every exercise is built on tasks from their own role, so the hours in training come back as working procedures.
See the three levels →A clear view of how your people use AI, shared rules for using it safely, and a short list of costly, recurring processes worth a closer look. Advice from economists who work with evidence, not a software vendor.
See Forward Deployed AI →Training that reinforces your rules instead of working around them. We use the tools you have already approved, no exercise uses internal data, and every participant leaves with a one-page responsible-use guide.
See how we handle information →We don’t teach a tool. We teach how to design the work.
AI tools change every few months. What lasts is the skill of choosing a repeatable task, giving the AI the context it needs, defining what a good result looks like, and checking it at a reasonable cost. That is what we train.
Pick a repeatable task
From the participant’s own role, described without confidential information.
Give it context
What the AI needs to know to stop giving generic answers.
Set the limits
What the deliverable is, what the AI may and may not do.
Check, then improve the process
Review against a checklist and fix the instructions, not just the output.
The gains depend on the task, on how the work is designed and on how it is supervised. We don’t promise a fixed multiple. We measure what changes for your team.
- At least 60% hands-on practice in every session.
- Your team’s work, not toy examples.
- Tool-independent: we work with whatever your company has approved.
- Safety from the first session, not a final slide.
- Measured at the start, at the end and after 30 days.
Three skill levels. Start where your team is.
A short diagnostic tells us where your group stands. Most organizations start with AI Foundations for broad teams and AI at Work for people who already use AI every week.
AI Foundations
For teams new to AI, or using it without shared rules.
What generative AI does well and where it gets things wrong. Which information should never go into it. How to write instructions that work in any tool.
Participants leave with: the habit of checking before trusting, clear rules on what information to use, and a personal instruction library for everyday tasks.
- Format
- 2 sessions · 6 live hours · 30-day clinic · 12 to 30 participants
- Tool
- Any AI chat assistant, including the free version or the one your company has approved.
AI at Work
For people who already use AI for one-off tasks and want it to be part of how they work.
Persistent context, long documents, research with sources you can check, data analysis, and a recurring task turned into a reusable workflow.
Participants leave with: a workspace set up for their role, a checklist for reviewing AI-assisted analysis, and a workflow in daily use, with time measured before and after.
- Format
- 4 sessions · 12 live hours · 30-day clinic · 12 to 30 participants
- Tool
- An individual paid AI plan, about USD 20 per month (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot), or your company’s equivalent. Not included.
Agentic AI: The Infinite Employee
For people who already work with AI and want to delegate multi-step work.
A chat assistant answers. An agent acts: it reads and writes files and uses tools. Participants learn to direct one the way they would direct a colleague: give it context, delegate work whose result can be checked, and turn a task that works into a small system. People stay responsible for what the agent produces. No programming required.
Participants leave with: an agent set up on a copy of their own work, a method for delegating and reviewing, and a small working system with before-and-after results.
Built on a course already delivered. This level builds on a course first taught in 2026 and redesigned after a full review of what worked in class.
- Format
- 1-hour guided setup + 4 sessions · 12 live hours · 30-day clinic · 8 to 20 participants
- Tool
- Claude Code or Codex with a paid plan, on a computer where the participant can install software. Not included.
Already using AI, but without shared rules? The combined AI Foundations + AI at Work track covers Level 1 in one session and continues with the four sessions of Level 2. 5 sessions · 15 live hours · 30-day clinic.
Choose how far to go
| Format | What it is | What it’s for |
|---|---|---|
| Executive session | 90 minutes with leadership, up to 15 people | Understand the potential and the risks, and decide what to train and how to govern AI use |
| Program (our core offer) | Diagnostic, live sessions, challenges between sessions and a 30-day clinic | Your team builds the skill and uses it |
| Program + 90 days | The program plus three months of follow-up: monthly clinics and adoption reports | The new way of working becomes a habit, and leadership has evidence to decide what’s next |
| Forward Deployed AI | An intensive engagement on one costly process | Solve a specific business problem. This is consulting, not training |
Every program includes
- A diagnostic before we start. A 7-minute participant survey and one or two short conversations with team leads, so exercises fit your team and we know the baseline.
- Exercises chosen for your sector and roles, with a shared practice case.
- 3-hour live sessions, online or on site, with at least 60% hands-on practice.
- Short challenges between sessions, applied to a real task from each participant’s role, always with public or fictional information.
- A 30-day follow-up clinic (90 minutes) to solve the problems your team ran into while applying what they learned.
- Materials: session slides, an instruction library that grows with the group’s contributions, a quick-reference card and a one-page responsible-use guide.
- Measurement and a short report for leadership.
- A certificate of participation issued by Proximity Advisors.
Not included: AI tool licenses and, for on-site sessions outside Mexico City, travel expenses.
Safe with your information from day one
Responsible use is where we start, not the last slide.
- No internal data, ever. Exercises use public or fictional information only. Challenges on real tasks are described in general terms.
- Your approved tools. We work with the AI tool your company has already authorized. If there is none, we use a general-purpose one. We don’t sell or require any specific product.
- A shared rule for information. In the first session, every participant learns which information is fine to use, which only goes into the approved tool, and which never goes into any AI.
- People stay responsible. Every exercise ends with a human review of the result.
- Agents work on copies. In Level 3, participants work on a copy of a folder, never the original, and start with a small, low-risk task.
Note for IT teams: Level 2 requires an individual paid plan. Level 3 requires installing Claude Code or Codex. We review requirements with your IT team before the program starts.
Evidence, not impressions
We measure at the start, at the end and 30 days later. Leadership receives a short report covering:
- Adoption: who is using AI at work, and how often.
- Time on reference tasks: measured before and after, on tasks your team actually does.
- Safe use: whether the information rules are being followed.
- Standout cases: what worked, in which roles.
- Opportunities found: recurring, costly processes that may justify a closer look.
We don’t promise a number in advance. Results depend on the task and on how the work is supervised. We measure them with your team and report what we find.
Need to make the case internally? Here’s what to tell them.
Most AI training is approved by someone who didn’t attend the first conversation. Use this to answer their four questions.
1. What result can we expect?
A measured baseline and a follow-up at 30 days, reported to leadership: adoption, time on reference tasks, safe use and standout cases. Each participant leaves with something in use: an instruction library (Level 1), a working workflow (Level 2) or a small working system (Level 3). We don’t promise a figure in advance; we measure it.
2. What risk does it control?
Shared rules on which information may go into AI, reinforced from the first session. Work only with approved tools. No internal data in any exercise. A one-page responsible-use guide for every participant.
3. What does it ask of our team?
- A 7-minute survey per participant and one or two short conversations with team leads.
- 6 live hours (Level 1), 12 (Level 2), 15 (combined track) or 12 plus a 1-hour setup (Level 3).
- Short challenges between sessions, on their own tasks.
- A 90-minute clinic 30 days later.
- For Level 2, an individual paid AI plan. For Level 3, permission to install Claude Code or Codex.
4. What does it cost?
Price per participant × group size, plus VAT. Minimum billing of 12 participants (8 in Level 3). Volume discounts from two groups. 50% on confirmation, 50% when live sessions end.
Example at list price: 20 participants in AI at Work = 20 × MXN 9,900 = MXN 198,000 plus VAT, before volume discounts.

Who leads the programs
Fernando Briseño, economist and data scientist.
Lecturer at Universidad de la Libertad, where he teaches algorithmic thinking with AI and data-driven decision making. He is an expert in teaching with the Minerva system and has taught more than 600 hours of university courses. Former consultant at BCG.
Larger groups are supported by additional facilitation.
Proximity Advisors is an economics and analytics consultancy based in Mexico City. We help organizations understand complex markets, policies and data. Applied AI is part of that same work: evidence first, then action.
When training finds a costly process: Forward Deployed AI
During the diagnostic and the challenges, we keep track of processes that take several people, take days, repeat over and over and carry a significant cost. If one is worth the effort, we work on it with you:
problem → process → data → prototype → working solution → impact evaluation
It is a short, intensive engagement, quoted per project. It is consulting, not training.
Frequently asked questions
Which AI tool do you use?
Whichever your company has approved. If there isn’t one, we use a general-purpose tool. The method doesn’t depend on the tool.
Do participants need to know how to code for Level 3?
No. They need to be willing to install an application and to work on a copy of a folder.
Can we start directly with Level 3?
Yes, if the diagnostic confirms the group already works with AI on a regular basis.
How do we choose between the combined track and separate levels?
The diagnostic decides. If roughly half the group already uses AI for work every week, we recommend the combined track. If not, AI Foundations first, then AI at Work.
What about confidentiality?
No exercise requires internal information. Challenges on real tasks are described in general terms, and in Level 3 participants always work on copies.
Do you record the sessions?
Yes, if your company authorizes it.
Can you train more than 30 people?
Yes, in several groups, with volume discounts.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes, a certificate of participation issued by Proximity Advisors. It is not currently a DC-3 certificate from Mexico’s Ministry of Labor (STPS).
Online or on site?
Both. Online, we can use your company’s video platform. On site, same rate in Mexico City; outside Mexico City, travel expenses are added.
In which language are sessions delivered?
Sessions are delivered in Spanish. Program sheets are available in Spanish and English.
How is payment handled?
50% on confirmation and 50% when the live sessions end. Prices are in MXN plus VAT.
